Who I Help

OCD

I provide evidence-based Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) to help manage intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.

Young Adults

Supporting young adults navigating life transitions and building resilience through a compassionate, nonjudgmental clinical approach.

Anxiety

Addressing complex anxiety patterns and their impact on daily life through evidence-based, collaborative treatment.

Perfectionism

Helping you identify and challenge perfectionistic patterns that contribute to stress, burnout, and emotional exhaustion.

Life Transitions

Providing a safe space to process significant life changes, career shifts, and relationship adjustments with professional guidance.

Trauma

I offer trauma-informed therapy to help clients process painful experiences while building safety, resilience, and greater stability in the present.

Therapeutic Approaches

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a structured therapy that can help people process distressing experiences and traumatic memories. I completed EMDR training in January 2026 and am currently working toward EMDRIA certification.

Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT)

I-CBT helps you understand how obsessional doubt develops through reasoning processes that pull you away from information available through direct evidence and your senses. Treatment helps you recognize this pattern, reconnect with reality-based reasoning, and reduce reliance on compulsions.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is a leading evidence-based treatment for OCD. Together, we gradually approach feared thoughts, images, sensations, or situations while reducing compulsions and avoidance, helping you build confidence and flexibility.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a first-line treatment for generalized anxiety, panic, and social anxiety, with strong evidence behind it. We'll work with concrete tools you can practice between sessions, so change happens in your daily life rather than only in the room.

Saturday In-Person Sessions

I offer in-person sessions on Saturdays at Birch Counseling, 3326 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd., Building A, Suite 230, in Durham, NC, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. I am currently accepting new clients for therapy focused on  anxiety, OCD, life transitions and/ or trauma.
